Maintenance Supervisor

The Leea Resort Darwin, formerly Travelodge Darwin, is embarking on an exciting transformation under the Prendiville Group, a proudly West Australian, family-owned company renowned for its exceptional hospitality venues. With 136 hotel rooms, 32 townhouses, and expansive function spaces, we are set to redefine dining experiences and establish The Leea Hotel as one of Darwin's prominent destinations.
 
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our maintenance department, ensuring all equipment, systems, and facilities are running efficiently and effectively.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and supervising the maintenance team.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Support in managing budgets, tracking expenses, and sourcing vendors and contractors as needed.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot problems efficiently.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance in a hotel or large facility (preferred)
• Strong technical knowledge
• Familiarity with maintenance software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
