Our Story
Over the last forty years, this family company has grown from its remote accommodation beginnings, to become the highly regarded organisation behind a broad range of properties with names familiar and dear to many people.
The Prendiville Group owns and operates numerous iconic tourism, hospitality and entertainment facilities. Represented in a host of different environments, from the red earth mining centre of Karratha, to the lush vineyards of the South West, to the blue waters and white beaches of Rottnest Island, and the rich port heritage of Fremantle.
Samphire Rottnest, located on the premiere tourist destination Rottnest Island, hosts 80 suites, pools, unique dining options, and a range of indoor/outdoor function spaces, overlooking breathtaking views of Thomson Bay. We are entering a new and exciting era and are looking forward to building our team in support of this.

The Role
As our Barista, you’ll bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for the art of coffee making. Outside of producing a good brew, you will be team oriented, understand the operations and dining experience required for guests of the restaurant and be willing to lend a helping hand to your team away from the coffee machine.
To be successful in this role, you will possess outstanding barista talents, have sound understanding of f&b restaurant operations, passionate about customer experience and excellence, and have the adaptability to support the team where required.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce fast and quality coffee/beverages during service
- Ensure food health and safety guidelines are being followed
- Assist team during service to run food
- Maintain and cleaning the coffee machine and ensure equipment is well taken care of
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high customer satisfaction
About You
- Minimum of 1 year Barista experience
- Knowledgeable of food & beverage operations
- Charismatic, warm, and welcoming
- Passionate hospitality professional – thrives on floor energy.
- Ability to work well under pressure – remaining calm & collected.
- High ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously.
- Strong customer relations and passion for creating elevated experiences.
- Immaculate presentation and strong written & verbal communication.
