The Prendiville Group owns and operates numerous iconic tourism, hospitality and entertainment facilities. Represented in a host of different environments, from the red earth mining centre of Karratha, to the lush vineyards of the South West, to the blue waters and white beaches of Rottnest Island, and the rich port heritage of Fremantle.
Samphire Rottnest, located on the premiere tourist destination Rottnest Island, hosts 80 suites, pools, unique dining options, and a range of indoor/outdoor function spaces, overlooking breathtaking views of Thomson Bay. We are entering a new and exciting era and are looking forward to building our team in support of this.

The Role
As our Guest Experience Coordinator, you will have a natural flare for developing and bringing to life exclusive events for in-house guests to participate in, but most importantly creating memorable customer experiences, thriving in high satisfaction guest environments – inviting them to a moment of VIP luxury.
To be successful in this role, you will possess unmatched talent for people engagement, be process and organisation driven, understand the inner workings of cross department collaboration and the importance of communication - encapsulating the essence of what a stay at the Samphire Rottnest entails.
This role would suit a Guest Service Agent professional looking to take the next step in their career, whilst working on one of the dreamiest locations in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
- Consistently lead by example and with confidence when engaging with guests – never missing an opportunity to create a highlight moment
- Coordinate, create and lead guest experience activations
- Maintain the presentation and stock requirements of the Samphire Club
- Support Hotel Management in providing care to VIP guests
- Lead VIP recognition program and service levels
- Conduct room inspections of VIP suites – ensure standards are aligned with hotel expectations
- Create welcome packs and/or welcome messages for guest arrivals
- Drive external activities with island providers – leading to elevated booking experiences for guests to indulge in
- Assist reception team where required ensuring all guests have a seamless experience from start to finish
- Act as a key representative of Samphire Rottnest, leading group arrivals and greeting VIP guests
- Assist with conflict resolution and taking the necessary steps for service recovery
About You
- Minimum of 2 years hotel reception/customer service experience
- Vibrant, warm, and welcoming
- Comprehensive knowledge of Front Office operations.
- Ability to work well under pressure – remaining calm & collected.
- Strong customer relations and passion for creating elevated experiences.
- Immaculate presentation and strong written & verbal communication.
- Working knowledge of Guest Centrix or similar Property Management System – desirable
- Hold a RSA (responsible service of alcohol)
