Qualifications & experience
- Experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Previous managerial experience with strong leadership skills
- Any relevant trade certification that may assist with fulfilling the role
- A great attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Working knowledge of building maintenance across a broad range of skill sets
- Ability to independently manage a small team to keep the property in pristine condition for our guests
- Ability to think outside of the square to be creative in finding solutions to all issues
- Ability to be hands on
- Coordinate work performed by external contractors
- Computer proficient with the ability to operate building management systems and rostering systems.
- Able to communicate both verbally and written with other members of the senior management team
- Be proficient in reporting and communicating goals and strategies
- Availability to work on weekends or be on call when required
