The Prendiville Group owns and operates numerous iconic tourism, hospitality and entertainment facilities. Represented in a host of different environments, from the red earth mining centre of Karratha, to the lush vineyards of the South West, to the blue waters and white beaches of Rottnest Island, and the rich port heritage of Fremantle.
Samphire Rottnest, located on the premiere tourist destination Rottnest Island, hosts 80 suites, pools, unique dining options, and a range of indoor/outdoor function spaces, overlooking breathtaking views of Thomson Bay. We are entering a new and exciting era and are looking forward to building our team in support of this.

The Role
As our Bartender, you’ll be joining the team of Bayside Bar within the Samphire Rottnest. An escape for guests, to enjoy some of the finest cocktails and breathtaking views of Thompson Bay, you’ll be the essence of creating a luxury escape for each visitor – transporting them to paradise.
Joining our team, you’ll bring a wealth of knowledge in cocktail making, beverage selection, and most importantly creating elevated customer experiences.
This role would suit an experienced cocktail bar professional, looking to elevate their career on the white sand beaches of Rottnest Island and work in one of the most iconic tourism destinations Australia has to offer.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest experience, offering guidance beverage selections.
- Serve & mix beverages, including cocktail, wine, beers, ciders, and other offerings from our exclusively curated menu.
- Ability to work across multiple venues to serve customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring it meets health and safety standards.
- Opening and closing procedures, including setup, cleanup, and restocking of the bar.
- Operate POS systems, handle transactions, and reconcile payments accurately.
- Collaborate with team to ensure a smooth and efficient bar operation.
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
About You
- Minimum of 1 years Bar/Cocktail experience
- Exceptional knowledge of beverages and mixology.
- Charismatic, warm, and welcoming
- Comprehensive knowledge of Bar operations.
- Ability to work well under pressure – remaining calm & collected.
- High ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously.
- Strong customer relations and passion for creating elevated experiences.
- Immaculate presentation and strong written & verbal communication.
