Duty Manager

The Plaza Hotel Kalgoorlie is a premium Hotel with a boutique approach, embracing classic hotel values of rest, comfort and enjoyment. A great opportunity exists for a dedicated and hands-on Duty Manager to join our team.
   
Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily Food and Beverage operations of the hotel.
• Coordinating the activity of the Food and Beverage staff
• Development and training of staff
• Maintaining high standards of service
• Opening and/or closing of the venue
• Maintaining venue presentation and cleanliness
• Processing & reconciling POS & EFT terminals and complete with end of day financial reporting
• Attending management briefings and meetings
• Monthly stocktaking and stock control procedures

 
Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager
• Strong knowledge of wine, draught beer and spirits
• Valid WA un-restricted approved managers certification
• Have a passion for delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Have strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of WHS 
• H&L Knowledge is highly regarded.
