The Cottesloe Beach Hotel is an iconic Perth venue located at this prime beachside location. We proudly provide top-quality food, friendly service and a positive work environment. The venue comprises varied hospitality and bar spaces together with a newly refurbished function space on the first floor overlooking Cottesloe Beach.
The Hotel is on the brink of launching an exciting new 220-person venue which will operate alongside the current hospitality offerings.
You will be a key player in further reinforcing the exciting food and hospitality direction for the venue, working with a supportive team and Prendiville Group Director of Food Russell Blaikie to articulate, develop, and execute our plan for excellence in food. Tailor-made for a passionate professional, this role provides the scope for exercising your considerable knowledge and passion for food on a daily basis.
Supported by an energetic team of like-minded chefs this role offers a variety of areas within the one venue and allows for diversity within the role.

Key requirements:
- Applicable trade qualifications and accreditations
- Solid exposure to cooking and awareness of various types of innovative cuisine and food trends
- Menu planning, execution and developing creative daily specials.
- Knowledge and application of food costing and stock management
- Leadership and coaching skills to manage, mentor and train your team.
- Knowledge of kitchen food safety and compliance management
- Experience in the financial management of food operations including, managing budgets, wage costs, forecasting, staff rostering, sales analysis and reporting.
- Competent level of administration and computer literacy skills.
