Situated on the picturesque Swan River, the Tradewinds Hotel is an iconic venue in East Fremantle, a stones throw from the vibrant streets of Fremantle. We have an exciting opportunity for a Conference and Events Coordinator to join the team.  
 
Reporting directly to the Conference & Events Manager you will be the forefront of our function department, overseeing the day-to-day operations from set up to pack down for all conferencing and events.   You must have excellent attention to detail and an appetite to continually raise the bar. This role will require a highly organised, experienced and dynamic operator who understands the demands excelling in guest satisfaction and keeps their eye on the prize.

About You:
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events from start to finish. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple tasks will ensure the success of every event we host.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the team to understand the clients vision and requirements for events.
  • Liaise with vendors, venues, and other service providers to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Manage event setup, onsite operations, and teardown processes.
  • Create event marketing materials and promotional strategies as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and address any issues that arise before or during events.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to improve future projects.
Requirements :
  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
