The Prendiville Group owns and operates numerous iconic tourism, hospitality and entertainment facilities. Represented in a host of different environments, from the red earth mining centre of Karratha, to the lush vineyards of the South West, to the blue waters and white beaches of Rottnest Island, and the rich port heritage of Fremantle.

Samphire Rottnest, located on the premiere tourist destination Rottnest Island, hosts 80 suites, pools, unique dining options, and a range of indoor/outdoor function spaces, overlooking breathtaking views of Thomson Bay. The Role
As our Reservations Agent, you will be passionate about creating the ‘ultimate guest experience’, entice guests to optimise their stay through hotel sales storytelling, but most importantly work well in a fast-paced customer environments.
 
To be successful in this role, no upgrade is too far a stretch to promote and with your warm charismatic energy, guests will be grateful for your advice and ask to participate in additional options/add ons that will completely elevate their experience.
 
This role would suit a customer experience professional with a knack for sales and customer engagement - looking to take the next step in their career, whilst working on one of the dreamiest locations in Australia.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Reservation Management: Handle incoming reservations and accurately input details.
  • Guest Communication: Provide information about availability, rates, and amenities.
  • Processing Bookings: Confirm reservations and process payments, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Upselling and Promotions: Inform guests of promotions and encourage upsells.
  • Department Coordination: Work with front desk, housekeeping, and sales for smooth bookings.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure accurate reservation records and prepare reports.
  • Customer Service: Resolve booking issues and provide timely solutions.
  • System Management: Ensure reservation system is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Admin Support: Assist with general office tasks and special projects.
 
About You
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service and/or hotel reception experience
  • Vibrant, warm, and welcoming
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Front Office operations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure – remaining calm & collected.
  • Strong customer relations and passion for creating elevated experiences.
  • Immaculate presentation and strong written & verbal communication.
  • Working knowledge of Guest Centrix or similar Property Management System – desirable
  • Working knowledge of Levart or similar channel manager – desirable
