Paying homage to our team’s ongoing commitment to excellence in food and beverage hospitality; six Prendiville Group venues have taken home prestigious accolades at this year’s WA Good Food Guide (WAGFG) Awards.

Our cellar door restaurant located in Perth’s idyllic Swan Valley, Sandalford Restaurant, was acknowledged in the state’s Top 100 Restaurants for its ever evolving seasonal menu showcasing the best of local produce, led by executive chef Alan Spagnolo.

Sandalford Restaurant was joined in the Top 100 Restaurants by our flagship Italian restaurant on Rottnest Island, Isola Bar e  Cibo, which was awarded as a finalist for its mouthwatering menu of Italian plates — including WA Good Food Guide managing director Tessa Gallagher’s favourite, the cheesy cacio e pepe.

Rounding out our Group’s accolades in the 2025 WAGFG Top 100 Restaurants was our cheeky and personality-packed Broome restaurant, Johnny Sausage, which received praise as a finalist for its authentic Italian menu that’s become an all-round favourite with locals and visitors alike.

Norfolk Hotel, Hotel Rottnest and Cottesloe Beach Hotel also received accolades as part of the 2025 awards, securing recognition in the state’s Top 25 Pubs. Despite each venue having a distinct character, together they celebrate the best of Australian pub culture across three iconic destinations in WA.

Russell Blaikie, Director of Food and Beverage for Prendiville Group, said the recognition of all six venues is testament to the dedication to excellence within our team and across our partner network of suppliers.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to see six of our Prendiville Group venues recognised as finalists in the 2025 West Australian Good Food Guide Awards! This achievement is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and passion of the staff and management at each of these venues.

“It's great to see each team recognised for their dedication to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences. It’s not just a proud moment for our Group; it’s a celebration of the talent and teamwork that drives each of these iconic destinations. To be ranked amongst the best restaurants and pubs in Western Australia is a huge reward for effort. Congratulations to all involved!” said Blaikie.
