The Leea Darwin has officially joined the Prendiville Group family, marking our group’s debut in the Northern Territory.

Formerly known as the Travelodge, The Leea adds to our collective of unique boutique hotels and resorts across Australia, offering a vibrant and welcoming destination where locals and travellers can experience quintessential Northern Territory hospitality.

Inspired by the local flora and fauna, The Leea takes its name from a native Northern Territory plant — which is known for its striking red flowers and its ability to attract birds and butterflies. And, just like our hotel’s namesake, our vision is to create a space that is vibrant, welcoming, and a natural gathering place for both locals and visitors alike.

Whether staying for work, adventure, or a well-deserved break, The Leea is perfectly positioned in the city’s heart, offering easy access to Darwin CBD and making it a gateway to urban adventures and natural wonders in the Northern Territory.

The hotel is ideally situated close by to Darwin's vibrant attractions, dining, and cultural precincts, guests can look forward to being steps away from experiences including the Deck chair Cinema and the bustling Waterfront Precinct.

Striking the perfect balance between contemporary comfort and local charm, The Leea is encompassed by nature with refreshing waterfall pools and garden-framed rooms creating perfect urban oasis for both relaxation and adventure.

But there’s so much more to The Leea that’s still to come.

Having now begun our journey in the Northern Territory, we have exciting changes planned to enhance this beautiful space, ensuring that every stay is comfortable, memorable, and uniquely tailored to Darwin’s vibrant spirit.

Over the coming months, we’ll be making thoughtful updates to elevate The Leea experience for our guests a and the community with a vision to create a destination that reflects the spirit and warmth of Darwin itself.

An adventure awaits at The Leea.
