Pink is the word across Prendiville Group this October, with our hotels, bars and restaurants proudly launching the “GO PINK” group-wide initiative to acknowledge Breast Cancer Awareness Month and support local Western Australian charity, Breast Cancer Care WA (BCCWA).

A grass roots local charity, BCCWA provides crucial support services to the over 1,700* Western Australians diagnosed with breast cancer each year, offering services including counselling, financial and practical assistance, support groups, and regional outreach.

As a proudly family-owned Western Australian business, our group is committed to making a positive impact in our community and with one in seven women developing breast cancer at some point in their lives, there is a likelihood that someone in our circle — be it family, friends, or colleagues — could be impacted.

Our GO PINK initiative aims to raise funds and awareness to support the invaluable work carried out by Breast Cancer Care WA and ultimately making a positive difference to the lives of those impacted by breast cancer.

Kicking off on October 1, our Prendiville Group venues will give guests the chance to contribute to the GO PINK cause through initiatives including:

Skip My Room: Across our hotels, guests will have the option to "Skip My Room." By choosing to forgo room cleaning services, Prendiville Group will make a $5 donation to Breast Cancer Care WA.

Pink Drink Menu: Our food and beverage outlets have crafted a special Pink Drink menu featuring a selection of beers, bubbles, rosé, cocktails, and mocktails. Every time a guest purchases a drink from this menu, 15% of the proceeds will be donated directly to BCCWA.

Wall of Support: At the Cottesloe Beach Hotel and Mangrove Hotel, we’ve introduced a "Wall of Support,” inviting guests to show their solidarity by donating their bras to the wall, with each bra resulting in a $5 donation to BCCWA.

Last year, our oceanfront venue Cottesloe Beach Hotel led the charge by raising an impressive $33,285 for BCCWA through its month-long campaign, "Cott Goes Pink."  This year, we are taking this initiative to new heights by expanding it across all Prendiville Group properties, to unite our efforts across all venues and create a substantial, lasting impact for this worthy cause.

In addition to the ongoing initiatives taking place, our venues across WA will also host over 15 special events throughout October in support of BCCWA.

By expanding our "GO PINK" initiative across the entire Prendiville Group, we amplify our efforts and make a meaningful contribution to our community through BBCWA — one drink, one bra, and one donation at a time.
